This is my first visit to McAlister's Deli in Broken Arrow. After visiting a client, I decided to stop by and grab some lunch and review their Wi-Fi service. They don't have a sign on the door that advertised their wifi, but they do have if available.

McAlister's was bigger than I expected. I had imagined a small little deli in a strip mall. Actually, they have a standalone store with plenty of tables available. It is a nice hometown kinda atmosphere that reminded me of the Black Eyed Pea restaurant.

They have excellent service and a large menu. In fact, a manager actually stopped at my table to ask me how the wifi service was. I told her that the service was working great! I connected very quickly at 54.0 Mbps and excellent signal. There is not a login screen or anything that you must "agree" to. Also, I could only find one table with a power outlet nearby... right next to the front door.

The connection speed was reasonable and about the same as what most DSL users get in Tulsa. The signal or connection never slowed while I was in the store (about an hour). The one thing that disappointed me was the tables. They look like marble and my optical mouse didn't work very well on them. I had to resort to putting a piece of paper under my mouse in order to get it to work. But, I think that most wifiers don't use an external mouse in these situations anyway.

I enjoyed my time at McAlisters Deli in Broken Arrow. My sandwich was very good, and they refilled my drink for me. I'll have to come here more often... those spuds look yummy!
